16 Jan Showcasing TBL at the Asia Pacific Medical Educational Conference
Over the weekend, we ran a booth at the Asia Pacific Medical Educational Conference to share about team-based learning (TBL) and to showcase our TBL software InteDashboard™.
It was our first outing at a medical conference. We figured that since 40% of medical schools in the United States – UCLA, Colombia University, Duke University – use TBL, tbl software is highly relevant in medical teaching and training in Singapore.
Indeed, we saw interest in TBL for residency and nursing programs. We met professors from universities in Taiwan, Malaysia and Japan who are using TBL in their curriculum, but are looking for TBL software to shorten the administration process and collect data.
We had a good time at the conference, meeting new people and sharing TBL tips.
We also had a name card drop giveaway where Prof Peirce Chow from Duke-NUS Medical School walked away with a copy of the Art of Learning by our CognaLearn’s academic founder Ranga Krishnan!
We are looking forward to our next conference – The Team-Based Learning Collaborative in San Diego![/vc_column_text]
